Boat and Auto Interior Cleaning

Carolina Carpet Cleaning has served Bluffton and the SC Lowcountry since 1993. Our low-moisture process cleans boat, auto and camper interiors without soaking carpet or padding, so they dry with airflow instead of holding humidity. Call (843) 575-6286 for a free estimate.

Why Salt and Humidity Affect Vehicle and Boat Interiors

Salt spray and fine sand come in through doors, hatches and open windows, and settle into carpet, seats and cushions. Coastal humidity keeps those materials damp longer than they would be inland.

Enclosed spaces hold moisture. Soaking carpet or cushion padding in a closed cabin invites mildew and odor, which is why a low-moisture method matters here.

Our Low-Moisture Interior Cleaning Process

Step 1: Material Check

We identify the material before cleaning, whether marine vinyl, cloth, carpet or a fabric upholstery, and choose a solution suited to it.

Step 2: Low-Moisture Cleaning

A carbonated solution is applied lightly. The carbonation loosens sand, salt and soil from the fibers, and extraction removes it. The padding underneath receives minimal moisture.

Step 3: Drying With Airflow

We leave the interior open to airflow so it can dry fully before use. We confirm expected drying time during the estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions About Boat and Auto Interior Cleaning

Can you clean boat carpet without soaking it?

Yes. Our carbonated process is applied lightly and extracted, so the carpet and padding do not stay saturated. Heavily soiled areas may need a second pass, which we discuss during the estimate.

Will the interior be dry enough to use the same day?

Most interiors dry in a few hours with open airflow. We confirm expected drying time during the estimate, based on the material and the weather.

How often should a boat or vehicle interior be cleaned?

Boats used near saltwater and vehicles that carry sand benefit from cleaning once or twice a year. Campers and vehicles with pets may need it more often.
