The Coastal Discovery Museum has become one of the most visited attractions on Hilton Head Island. The museum was originally founded in 1985 and is now situated on 68 acres of land on the historic Honey Horn Plantation. The museum is located just four miles south of the Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge. The property is surrounded by the beautiful salt marsh and Spanish moss.
